Artist Statement: 
On a trip to the United Kingdom a couple of years back, I couldnt help but feel as if I'd been drawing wrong all my life when I saw how green and vibrant everything was. It immediately led me on a journey to understand how this worldview shaped art and folklore in the area. One of the most curious figures I found was the Green Man, a symbol of renewal and rebirth that comes with such verdant backdrops. This Green Man watches on as new life is given to old growth, and how the cycle of plants is a symbol of new beginnings.
