Artist Statement:
“Let Us Adore Him” is an original hand-carved linocut print of Mary and Joseph cradling their precious newborn baby, who would one day be the Savior of the world. As part of their sacred responsibility to raise Him, Mary and Joseph were the first ones to hold baby Jesus in their arms and adore Him. I wonder at the indescribable love and awe that must have filled their hearts when they held Him for the first time!
Each print begins as a hand-carved linoleum block. The design is carefully inked, then pressed by hand onto fine art paper, making every impression unique with its own subtle texture and character. This process gives the piece a timeless, handmade quality that digital reproductions can't replicate.
