Artist Statement: 
I wonder what the first scene looked and felt like as we prepared for the first Christmas in heaven. I imagine our Heavenly Mother and Father bustling around, making sure everyone had a good view of the action as we watched with anticipation for the events that would happen that week that would change the world. 
 
I bet just like a little family nativity scene many of us put on as kids with our cousins, we each had a part to play. Keeping the animals in the stable quiet and calmed, making sure the light on the lamps glowed just bright enough, and of course the choirs of angels ready to sing praises and announce the birth of our King. I want to also imagine some musically inclined angels playing their instruments in a heavenly orchestra. I bet Dolly Parton had her guitar and acrylic nails ready to go, and Elton John on the piano, along with everyone else who wanted to participate. Mack Wilberg was probably leading the music and David Archuleta or Gladys Knight on key vocals. IDK guys I don’t know anything about music, but “Jubilee” is a nativity scene that celebrates that joy of gathering to worship the Savior at our favorite time of year.
