Late in the day, on the steps of Herod’s
The Savior of Nazareth comes.
In his own special way, to the people he calls:
”Come, take a handful of crumbs.
Come feast with the birds, show me you care,
And you’ll be glad if you do.
Your spirits are hungry, your hearts are so bare,
All you need are some crumbs, for you”
 
Though his words are simple and few:
Listen, Listen! He’s calling to you.
Feast with the birds, crumbles in hand.
Crumbles, crumbles, crumbles in hand.
