Artist Statement:
It is easy to stay rooted and upright on a calm, warm day. But during a hurricane, it feels inevitable that we will eventually be torn from our footings or broken apart completely. It feels inevitable until we remember that we are hewn from the Rock, the One who is intimately acquainted with the most severe rain and wind we each will encounter in life. He is steady. He is sure. As we work in union with His infinite capacity, we will find strength beyond measure.
