Artist Statement: 
A prayer is called to the heavens, a prayer is given in response. Oftentimes for me, prayer can feel like it goes nowhere. I seek to have a collaborative or transcendent experience while praying, and instead I feel stuck, grounded earthside. I wonder in those times, does heaven hear? Does heaven respond? The smallest whisper will satisfy my spiritual thirst. Sometimes, I have to remind myself as Christ reminded Peter, “I have prayed for you.”
