Artist Statement: What is it like for a mixed person to be categorized by others onto the nonwhite side the color-line, ignoring their white identity? What is it like for a person of color to enter a white space and be seen as 'other'? What is it like ot be seen as 'other' and different and teh odd one out regardless of what side you're on?
 
Frame Details: -Frame: 1-1/2" Wide (carved line will extend the color line on both sides of the frame in each piece).-Wood: Walnut Black Wash.-Spacer: Float without a mat without much space around them.-Glazing: TruVue Museum Optium (Acrylic).
