Artist Statement: What is it like for a mixed person to navigate balancing on this socially constructed bu subsequently real color-line? What is it like for a mixed person to have to prove their whiteness, or blackness, or bothness?
 
Frame Details: -Frame: 1-1/2" Wide (carved line will extend the color line on both sides of the frame in each piece).-Wood: Walnut Black Wash.-Spacer: Float without a mat without much space around them.-Glazing: TruVue Museum Optium (Acrylic).
