Artist Statement:
Growing up, we had a Victorian Era picture on our bathroom wall called All Is Vanity by Charles Allan Gilbert. It depicts a woman sitting at a vanity table looking in the mirror. The positioning of the mirror, the woman, and the lights creates the illusion of a giant skull staring back at you. This piece is my interpretation of and homage to that picture. Coupled with the skull earrings, it speaks to the vanity that we adorn ourselves with everyday. This skull contains 1,797 beads. Includes Skull Earrings. Can be sold seperately.
