Artist Statement: 
Musician friends Shim (the badger), Francis (the bear) and Doe (the stoat) are currently traveling The Bard’s Highway (as this particular trail is called, as it’s a common corridor for traveling musicians and poets in the Westlands of Huckleberry Hollow).
As per usual, Francis is regaling his friends with tales of his missteps and mishaps; this time he’s telling them of the time that he tried to climb a tree to help rescue his friend’s wind blown bonnet. Unfortunately, he had misjudged the low clearance of the branches and his own girth, causing him to end up head over heels tangled in tree roots below…sans his companion’s chapeau.
