What does it mean to see the world with fresh eyes — to find beauty in an ordinary afternoon, to trust, experiment, and try again? Join us at The Compass Gallery for a conversation with two Utah artists whose current exhibits ask that very question. Emma Taylor (The Summer of Life) captures the warmth and wonder of family life, finding spiritual weight in still moments and everyday gatherings. Katie Cash Davis (Child-ish) brings an artist's eye to the openhearted, intuitive way children engage with the world, reflecting that energy in her layered, playful mark-making. Together they'll share the stories behind their work, discuss their creative processes, and invite us all to reclaim a little of the childlike goodness we carry. Q&A to follow.
