Artist Statement: 
Finding purpose as a woman in the gospel I look to female figures in the scriptures. When God creates Eve, He describes her in Hebrew as ezer kenegdo. Kenegdo meaning “opposite” and ezer “helper.” It is translated as “help meet”, or “helper suitable to [Adam]”. God showed Adam what a perfect and equal partnership should be. Husband and wife are to help strengthen one another in the ways they cannot help themselves, walking through life in their appointed role, shoulder to shoulder. However far away, I feel my divine nature in believing our Heavenly Mother is right alongside Heavenly Father tending to the children on Earth, shoulder to shoulder.
