Jesus walked on the Sea of Galilee. Once His disciples recognized Him, Peter wanted to go to Him. Peter felt afraid and began to sink into the depths. He cried out “Lord, save me!” Jesus reached out and caught Him. The ocean we are navigating can feel unknown and scary. In all of life’s torrential moments, Jesus Christ is there to catch us. No matter how many times we are low on faith. Whenever we fear or doubt, we can still take steps to reach Him, and He is there ready to remind us, lift us, and calm our personal storm. He understands. We are cherished by Him. We are never lost to Him.
