Artist Statement: 
Whenever I read about the Spirit in the scriptures, I can't help but feel that the qualities and traits the spirit possesses are traditionally feminine. Speaking in gentleness, being a comfort, looking out for others, and directing others to Christ. I painted the Spirit as a woman to reflect those values and remind us all that we are ALL found in the body of Christ.
