Artist Statement:
I know little about my Mother in Heaven, but I do know she loves me and all her children perfectly, which I have tried to capture in this painting. I also know she works with my Father in Heaven for our blessing and salvation. Even knowing these few things about her brings me happiness. I hope that over time I can gradually grow to become more like her–full of love, selflessness, goodness, and grace. I will rejoice when I come to know more about her, and especially when, through the grace of Jesus Christ, I will see her face to face in our heavenly home, but for now it’s enough to know that, “I’ve a mother there.”
