Artist Statement: 
"What if he doesn't make it?" My husband tearfully asked his grandfather, What would we do if our special needs son did NOT overcome the treacherous obstacles that stood in his path? Our Elder wisely answered, "You can either try to drive the car, or realize that God is in the drivers seat, and you can sit back and enjoy the ride." From that moment, we enjoyed every DAY that our son fought for his life, knowing any one of them could be his last. And 12 years later, we can proudly say that we have, and continue to enjoy the RIDE.
