Artist Statement: 
The painting 'Gethsemane, Jesus Loves Me!' is based on the hymn by Melanie Hoffman. I wanted to capture the same feeling of when that hymn is sung by primary children. Jesus loved the children and blessed many of them with just his presence, it is often forgotten when we start thinking about how Christ's life came to an end. While it is immensely humbling recalling Christ's last week on earth, it is a great reminder that Jesus Loves Me! Gethsemane!
