Enlightenment
You lift her gaze,
and she remembers her voice.
For centuries, the path of a girl has been written before she can read it—
a life shaped by duty and survival.
Hands trained for labor, not for holding light.
A future inherited, not chosen.
This work marks the interruption.
In the quiet act of learning, illumination enters.
Education becomes awakening—
a remembering of worth that was always there.
She learns she is equal.
She learns she is seen.
She learns she has the right to stand, to speak, to move freely in the world.
The light she holds is knowledge made visible—
inscribed with the Adinkra symbol for education,
a visual prayer for wisdom and growth.
It is steady, generative, alive.
