Acting on inspiration, Joan of Arc leads the French army into battle. As a young woman, many obstacles stood in the way of her leadership, but she was courageous and proved to the soldiers to be worthy of following. Another self portrait, painting this piece has been a way of claiming my power and stating my worth.
