Artist Statement:
A woman leans over the water, her fingers nearly touch the surface. Most of the water in this image is reflecting the sky, but where her arm and hand cast their shadow, you can see through the water to the depths. This painting is about searching for meaning. It's a reflection on the moments when we get a glimpse into our souls. Going deeper requires courage and honesty. It may require us to face uncomfortable things. We emerge from the depths stronger and more whole.
