Artist Statement: Painted with pigments coaxed from the ancient desert surrounding the Saudi Arabian oasis of AlUla, this twelve-fold pattern was drawn and painted as a meditation on the passage of time. It passes quicky yet stretches before and behind us for eternities. The present moment is a golden hour.
