Artist Statement: 
 
One of the songs that resonated with me while creating this painting was Dwell by The King Will Come. One of my favorite lines is, “I will remember the promise I made—to always dwell with you.” I love the beautiful image of the Savior inviting us to dwell with Him—to remain close to Him and feel His love.
As I painted Christ looking upward toward the Father, I imagined Him experiencing perfect peace and desiring for us to feel that same comfort. He invites us to dwell, to abide, and to come unto Him. His presence doesn't always remove our burdens, but it fills our hearts with peace, hope, and comfort as we draw near to Him.
