Artist Statement:
At the heart of my work is a desire for my children to grow closer to their Savior and their Heavenly Parents. Parenthood is an act of faith - a daily balance between teaching, trusting, and letting go. Through mixed media collage, I explore the sacred tension between agency and guidance, imperfection and grace. Each element represents the imperfect but holy process of nurturing a child’s spirit - moments of love, mistakes, and hope woven together. The act of assembling these pieces mirrors my own spiritual journey as a parent: learning through trial and error, offering what I can, and trusting that the Savior will do the rest.
