Artist Statement:
One by one, the Savior receives three small children as they each offer Him a special gift they thoughtfully picked for Him. The Savior reaches for the first child with joy, one hand accepting her gift and the other extending toward her. Each flower represents the offerings we bring to Him, including our time, our talents, our trials, and the desires of our hearts. Though He cherishes every gift we offer, we are infinitely more precious to Him. All we can do is give ourselves back to Him in love and gratitude. My hope is that this painting reminds us that no gift is too small for the Savior, and that His love for us reaches far beyond what we can give in return.
