Join us at The Compass Gallery for a hands-on watercolor workshop! Local artist and entomologist Heath Ogden will guide attendees through versatile watercolor techniques useful for capturing a wide range of natural subjects, from plants to animals and beyond. We welcome participants of all experience levels.
In this workshop we'll be painting the seven-spotted ladybug beetle (Coccinella septempunctata). The workshop brings together art and science in a way that reflects The Compass Gallery’s love of storytelling, symbolism, and deeper attention.
