The Bible Storybook: Old Testament Reading

In this intimate gathering, authors Josh and Sarah Sabey will read selections from The Bible Storybook: The Old Testament, bringing beloved narratives from the Old Testament to life with language written for families and thoughtful listeners. The evening will also feature the first public reading of their new Easter book, The Story of the Atonement—a meditative exploration of three sacred scenes from Christ’s atoning sacrifice through a lens that children and families can feel and reflect upon together.

We are honored to welcome Vanessa Quigley, co-founder of Chatbooks and a passionate voice for family storytelling, to introduce the evening with brief opening reflections on faith, memory, and what it looks like to pass belief forward.

Original illustrations from both books will be on display throughout the gallery.
