In the Language of Adam Book Launch with Dave Butler

Local author D. John Butler explores the Book of Mormon and its resonant symbolic imagery in his latest nonfiction text, “In the Language of Adam”, which delves into the Book of Mormon through the lens of temple initiation and visionary religious community. Butler presents a compelling case that the Book of Mormon was written by and for a community centered on ancient temple ceremonies, using metaphors and allusions familiar to participants in those rituals. Additionally, paintings for the covers of Butler’s three works of religious nonfiction will be on display. Books will be available for purchase at the event, which will take place this Friday, June 15th, at 7pm.
