About the event
Discover the vibrant and diverse ecosystem at the heart of our valley—Utah Lake. In this session, Teri Harman with Conserve Utah Valley (CUV) and Kelly Cannon-O’Day with the Utah Lake Authority (ULA) will share the lake’s rich environmental history, past challenges, and the successes of ongoing restoration and conservation efforts. You’ll learn how ULA’s three pillars—ecology, recreation, and community—guide collaborative projects across federal, state, local, and private partners, and how CUV engages the public in protecting the lake and opposing harmful development. Together, these organizations will highlight both the challenges and the promise of Utah Lake—and how you can play a role in securing its future.
