Artist Statement: Eliza R. Snow was known as Zion's poetess. She penned several poems that were out to music and included in the LDS hymns. She was the second General Relief Society president of the church and the older sister to Lorenzo Snow. Her poem"My Father in Heaven", which late became the hymn "Oh My Father", introduced the doctrine of the existence of a Heavenly Mother, and that doctrine was accepted in the following years by the church.
