Artist Statement: 
In my work, I find it difficult to representationally paint God, so I paint His presence. The glory of God shining through His beloved Son. The abstraction of the figures before Christ and in the heavens stands in for generations of the children of God connected both here on Earth and beyond the veil. I stand in front of this painting, like the abstracted figures on the mount, and ponder what it would've been like when He came, when He comes, and how I am striving now to come unto Christ.
