    Lisa DeLong Lisa DeLong studied painting and received her MA in Art History at Brigham Young University. She moved to London in 2001. DeLong completed her doctoral studies at The Prince's School of Traditional Arts in 2007, studying under Professor Keith Critchlow and Paul Marchant, two of the world’s foremost geometers. DeLong is now Outreach Program Manager for the Prince's School, designing and conducting educational workshops internationally in places like Azerbaijan, Abu Dhabi, Pakistan, Malaysia, China, and Pakistan. In her paintings, DeLong investigates the beauty found in the conversation between order and the unexpected, chaos and cosmos. Both the patterns and the raw materials of her works are informed by travels and research with the Prince’s School.     Reimagining religious scenes through contemporary gouache and alla prima painting techniques Brandon Gonzales Reimagining religious scenes through contemporary gouache and alla prima painting techniques After graduating from Art Center College of Design, Brandon Gonzales has spent 10 years working as a matte painter and concept artist in the entertainment industry. His love of painting and drawing led him to obtain a Masters in Fine Art Degree in Painting from LCAD. His unique artistic background has helped him develop a sharp eye for detail, evident in his expressive brush strokes and captivating colors of his paintings. Since his return to traditional painting, he has received various awards including the Best of Show in the LPAPA Next Generation Invitational, Master Class Winner in the Art Muse Contest and 2nd place in the CAC Small on the Wall for Fall and in the LPAPA Town & Country Competitions. His years working as a matte painter have nurtured an exceptional ability to see complexities and nuances around him. This ability coupled with his painterly style results in a fresh and energetic style of painting. A current resident of Utah, Brandon Gonzales shares his love of nature and art with his wife and their seven children. The Compass Gallery was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding reception. The communication with their team was quick, friendly, and efficient throughout the planning process. They provided excellent recommendations for well-priced catering and live music that really elevated the event. The quality of their work was exceptional - the beautiful, unique space with its inspiring art displays and intimate atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. With about 80 guests, there was plenty of room for everyone to sit, chat, and dance the night away. We loved the live music played on the gallery's piano and the gorgeous views of downtown Provo out the windows. The Compass Gallery helped make our special day truly memorable. Jeddah B.
