Artist Statement:
Creation stirs and settles around Her,
        and She nestles into the youngest tendrils.
                The hum of burgeoning life quiets to meet her repose.
Cosmos find their place in the stars under her direction.
        the shimmering exhale of a magnum opus.
                A perfect delivery.
On the seventh day, She rests.
        Content at the crowning creation of her hands.
                Omnipotence making space for restoration.
Dusk and dawn abide.
        Time ripples into a new lullaby.
And the moon takes pause to bear witness,
        how the valleys echo her harmony.
                Weaving the rhythm of slumbering felicity.
Days accomplished.  Week complete.  Divinity entire. 
On the seventh day, She rested.
And it was good.
