Artist Statement: 
Inspired by the Broadway stage musical Wicked, I wanted to incorporate elements and props from the show into a single portrait of Elphaba, as if she were sitting for it herself. Having grown up loving The Wizard of Oz, and Wicked by extension, this piece is deeply personal—something I had been conceptualizing for years before finally bringing it to life, driven by my passion for the source material.
