Artist Statement: Sometimes the chaos of our world can cloud our spiritual clarity. Like the little short guy, Zacheus, in the Bible, we might find the need to gain a clearer view by climbing our own sycamore tree. These sycamore depictions can serve as a reminder that no obstacle is too tall to overcome if we put in real effort to connect with the divine.
