The fruit would not exist without the vine. The vine in this painting represents womanhood in the scriptures. The fruit represents the tangible, documented events in scripture that take precedence. The vine, although overlooked, nourishes the fruit and is adorned with flowers, symbolizing femininity and the promise of fruits to come. Yellow and purple surround the fruit and vines symbolizing royalty and divinity.
