Artist Statement:
This work is a monotype print part of the ‘Weight We Carry’ series. This relates to coming to terms with learning to deal with difficult things. The images are meant to be positive. The background colors are not constrained by the boundary of the lines and attempt to reflect the strength, beauty and joy one can have even amid challenges. These works seek to reflect gracefully keeping ones' balance and moving forward in life even while bearing the weight of difficulties.
