Artist Statement:
Utah Lake has long been a source of life, sustaining a rich variety of birds, fish, and wildlife. Water itself carries deep meaning — a universal symbol of renewal found throughout scripture. In this painting, I sought to capture the lake’s quiet strength and luminous reflection as a reminder of both abundance in nature and the sustaining peace found in God’s creation. It is a piece about stillness, reflection, and finding rest — a moment where heaven and earth meet.
