Artist Statement:
Runoff from a culvert enters Provo Bay and meanders slowly toward Utah Lake, carrying traces of human life—our waste, our consumption, our choices—our contributions that shape the lake. At sunset, warm light glints across the slow currents in glittering brilliance. Even as human choices disrupt its wildness, the lake’s serene beauty endures, a reminder of both its resilience and our responsibility to preserve it.
