Artist Statement:
Utah Lake may not be as well known as the GSL, but it's importance is quite mighty and we would do well to understand its role in our state's ecosystem. In recent years, stewards of the lake have been working to restore the lake and especially the Provo River Delta. There has been a lot of earthwork, new park features, and a lot of replanting, and to help usher in the water from our mountains and our snowpack into the this large freshwater lake. I wanted to celebrate that restoration work with a fiery sunset in honor of those that care about this special place.
