Artist Statement:
American White Pelicans rest and gather at Utah Lake. This collage piece depicts this majestic bird that is part of the story of a lake that has provided rest and a place to gather to so many. I used layers of collage and paint to suggest that the lake's history of providing life and rejuvenation for animals plants and humans is layered and deep.
