Artist Statement:
This piece depicts my personal journey to discover the Divine Feminine, who is represented by several symbols including the serpent, bee, moon, doves, water, and the tree. The woman reaches up with a longing to find, learn of, and connect with our Heavenly Mother. She holds a large pearl close to her heart, representing a gift of peace I received from Her. The gold surrounding the woman symbolizes the love and power She shares with us. I have felt this love as I have awakened to the knowledge of the personal relationship our Mother in Heaven has with each of us, and I am eager to receive further understanding that will come as I continue my search to know Her.
