Artist Statement: Each of the tiles on this mosaicked heart are intended to bring us one step closer to understanding the Grace of Heavenly Parents and Jesus Christ as we work to become more like them. Reminders, invitations, admonitions and helpful memos are intended to bring us closer to seeing and being a part of the Big Picture of Love. This work requires daily choices and regular progress to keep us moving in the right direction. In this work, there is no place for stagnation—we move forward, or we slide backward. Even small progress is progress. And these invitations will bring us one step closer to not only experiencing Heaven’s grace, but singing it out for others to hear and see and desire to know the reason for the joy within us.
