Artist Statement:
I had a rounded piece of panel that I wanted to use, but was thinking first about how I would go about framing it... when I found a broken clock in an antique store. The idea for the painting came to me in a backwards fashion there in many ways. But the way I would go about creating the painting itself was inspired by the end presentation.
