From the dust she grew
Feet in the earth, bracing for the fall
Legs entangled in roots, not to keep her small
But to teach her how to stand.
From the underground she grew upward,
stretching through stem and breath.
Until her body, blooming with flowers,
Began to learn
unafraid 
Towards the heavens.
