Artist Statement:
I spent 20 winters in Boston. It was dark, cold and often drepressing. One spring after moving into a diffeerent home I was surpised to see poppies emerge from the once frozen, dead ground. They became a symbol of resurrection for me - a reminder that death is temporary.
