Artist Statement: Silhouetted beneath a sacred arch, this figure embodies the ancient Egyptian goddess Nut—the celestial mother who swallows the sun each night and births it anew each morning. Cloaked in constellations, I represented her standing on the horizon at the threshold between night and day.
