Artist Statement:
I lived in Boston for two formative decades that continue to bless my life in countless ways. I was able to visit the Sacred Grove many times and have painted it a lot. Also during that time, my faith was challenged and pushed. Perspectives on Joseph Smith changed from something that was simple to something that I could graple with from a deeper, more complex place. This art represents seeing a scene from a broader perspective.
