Artist Statement:
We normally just think of Christ as a baby and then as an adult. In Luke 2:40 & 52 it says, “And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.” “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.” With this painting I wanted to show that he needed to learn all of the little things that we all have to do, like simply learning to walk.
