Artist Statement:
There is holiness in the act of gathering your thoughts and desires and hopes and funneling it into any kind of creation. As an art teacher I get to watch children excel at this every day. Their sincerity and respect for themselves as creators is inspiring to me, and I wanted to portray that gift.
