Kenneth and Taylor are both relative newcomers to the Utah fine art scene. While they each explore very different thematic territory, both artists produce work grounded in unconventional representations of the human figure.
Kenneth Hartvigsen studied art history at The University of Utah and Boston University, receiving his PhD in 2014, and is Curator of American Art at the BYU Museum of Art. He lives in Murray with his wife and two daughters.
Taylor Larsen will graduate this Spring from Utah Valley University and receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Drawing. In 2016 he worked as an assistant curator at Writ & Vision. He lives in Orem, and plans to pursue a Masters degree outside of Utah.
